All residency grads from 2013 are currently practicing or pursuing additional training in the U.S. - 77.7% in the Midwest
- 12.9% in the East
- 9% in the West
- About 1% in the South
Of the 50 states, residency grads from 2013 are practicing or training in 18 of them. Minnesota and Wisconsin have the highest representation, with Minnesota at 65% and Wisconsin at 7%. Other states include Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, South Carolina, and Washington.
Types of Practice
Residency grads are practicing in a number of settings (e.g., clinics, hospitals, U.S. Navy) and caring for a variety of communities and patient populations, including the medically underserved.- Close to 80% private practice or clinical care

Additional Training
